WT and I really enjoy the blues and we seem to hop from blues club to blues club on a regular basis. Last night, after some quiet, intimate time together, we made it over at HOT-WET to hear the lusty tunes of DJ Fiery Otaared. I had never been to one of her gigs before and found it to be a genuinely unique experience. Fiery’s collection included some very old works including songs that even WT had never heard before. The evening was especially enjoyable because many of my favorite blues friends and acquaintances were there.

I’m over here at Callahan’s in New Key West this morning. Callahan’s is still under construction but it is shaping up nicely. I’m looking forward to the grand opening of both clubs, and am hoping that it brings some traffic into our region. I mean, I appreciate the peaceful nature of New Key West but I’m a social gal and I enjoy meeting new people.
