T.G.I.F.

On Friday, the stock market was a bad dream come true, so I spent a lot of time in-world dancing at HOT WET during the trading day. It was fun as usual and I got so distracted that I didn’t notice my stocks as they were sucked into the vortex that was destroying the value in most on the boards.

Fortunately, the day ended and WT arrived online. I was happy to see him and we went to Dali’s Place early in the evening and danced and talked as if we hadn’t seen each other in a week, and then we went to Junkyard and danced and talked some more. It was an enjoyable evening, and we stayed up late until about 10pm, then made the leap back across space and time into real life.

Unfortunately, I wasn’t ready for sleep so a short while later I made one last jump back into SL, but by this time I was not in the mood to dance. Instead, I headed to Mill Pond and engaged in conversation until I was sorry I had not just turned on the television. And then all the stress of the week took me down hard. I left after midnight and slept so hard that I awoke with aches and pains.
