Settling Down

Yesterday was a lazy day. I was starting to settle down as the tension of the auction blew away, mostly; I say mostly because I will have to wait until next week for my date, and even then it is subject to unexpected changes in schedule.

I spent a little bit of time with Magi, Lacey, Dixon and the gang over at the club. Lacey had been on her date with Ymir and had a good time and she seemed very happy. However, I had too many issues to deal with in real life, mainly the stock market, and headed home to my photo studio in New Key West. While keeping an eye on my trade station, I worked on some new photographic techniques. I shot a set of profile photos with the rose painting as a backdrop and got some nice effects, but still haven’t gotten everything I want out of the latest techniques. So, I’ll try again this weekend.

In the evening, I went over to DreamCatcher for Ziffy’s gig. Zoya paradropped in, and WT joined me around 6pm. Zoya & Tel and WT & I are going to double date this weekend. Anyway, when Ziffy’s gig ended WT & I tp’d home to our beach, put on our swim suits and just settled in for a really nice evening of hanging out. We poofed for the evening, but once again, I couldn’t sleep.

It was probably 11pm when I hopped back in world and began just puttering around with inventory. I went exploring some stores I haven’t visited in awhile and discovered that many of them were gone. I also saw Archer online and offered to show him a good store for men’s shoes but he was busy. I even worked on a couple of noob gift box projects, but finally had to head over to the Junkyard for some late night music and dancing. There were quite a few people there including DJ Auggie & Liora. But I just danced until I became sleepy, then made the leap back into the real world and apparently fell asleep rather quickly.
