This is a special post to review the progress made in my quest to explore the first of the six mainland continents, Sansara. I’ve made a map that identifies the sims that have been explored already, about sixty. The areas in gray have not been explored yet, and I’ve made a rule that I won’t explore offshore islands unless they are connected by causeways.

I’ve also made a map of the Sansara continent sans the outer islands. I’ve placed a box around the region covered so far.

I think the maps starts to give a sense of the enormity of this quest, especially when considering that there are five more continents. And I have to admit that I’m a bit overwhelmed, but also challenged to continue on. I also have to say, I’m in awe of the breadth and depth of Second Life as a creation and as a technology.
