Britney Mason Says Hello

Yesterday was another busy day in RL. In the evening, I did my gig with Ziffy and it was a lot of fun. I think I stunned everyone when I told the story about my Uncle Bill who lost his leg in a freak accident where his leg was mangled in the engine of a boat at sea. It is a long story but basically my dad had to cut off my uncle’s lower leg and tied off the arteries with fishing line was more than anyone could cope with. Hehe. It all happened back in the 1950s and sounds extraordinary but only if you didn’t know my dad. Anyway, I wrote a story about it but haven’t attempted to get published yet, as it is really part of a larger work.

After my gig, WT arrived in-world and we tp’d over to my new house. WT had been working in his vineyard and was tired and I was a bit distracted with incoming IM’s, so we really didn’t have any quality time together. Then, out of the blue I got one more IM, a most unexpectedIM.

Britney Mason contacted me! Now, if you haven’t read yesterday’s journal entry you won’t get the significance of this because I had quite a bit of fun at Britney’s expense based on a CNBC television program that had a five minute segment that introduced her/him to the viewing public.

Anyway, right from the start Britney was a fun person with a good sense of humor and although I was completely baffled at how she had found her way to my modest blog, I was glad she did. We chatted briefly and she provided me some facts about Britney’s achievements in SL (more on this to come) and indicated that she is willing to do an interview. One important fact that Britney told me is that Thursday’s program was an edited version of much longer program from last year. I thought the interview was a great idea and hopefully we will conduct an interview in the next day or so.
