Working Around The House

I spent most of Sunday working on the new house. I did take time to head over to an impromtu party at DJ Auggie and Liora’s home, but mostly it was setting up the living room, dining room and then the photo studio. The style is Vitorian-eclectic and I think this is a case where pictures tell a thousand words. I think I’ll go ahead and replace the trunk in the living room with a victorian table, then at least one room will be truly Victorian.

While working on the photo studio I also spent a lot of time fiddling with studio lighting settings. The lighting at the new home is complicated by a lot of “bright” settings in building and other objects. It has taken me quite a bit of time to figure out how to control lighting in Second Life, and even with my N30 lighting systems I am still learning new techniques.

I was online for way too many hours without a break and left early. I was hoping to see WT but he didn’t show, although I got an email from him later in the evening. The interview didn’t happen either, so we are rescheduling. I’m going to start planning the next expedition back to Sansara today, as soon as I complete the furnishing of the house. I’ve got some idea for the beach and need to start getting serious about that too.
