On Monday evening I was chatting with Aynnie about an idea for a little store. I have a bunch of nice in-world photos of landscapes, buildings compounds and contraptions that I’ve taken in my exploration of Second Life. Some of the photos are very nice and might sell, and my idea is to rent a little store at Magi’s mall and see what happens. Unfortunately, I don’t have enough pictures to fill a store, so I asked Aynnie if she’d be interested in selling a selection of AHA Design furniture. Anyway, I rented the store and we are fiddling around trying to figure out how this thing will work.
Last night was DJ Ali’s first gig at The Line and I was there hosting for her, then later stayed on to host for DJ Auggie until about 9:00pm. The crowd was relatively small but we had new people popping in thoughout the evening; in fact, I signed up over a dozen new members into The Line group. At the risk of dating myself, I’m really enjoying the change in our music format which focuses on 60s, 70s and 80s music. I just hope we don’t loose track of our bluesy roots.
On a side note, I can’t recall a single time since I’ve been hosting that anyone has asked me to dance; other than WT that is. Oh! And other than Mojoe who can’t restrain himself around women.
