I wasn’t in-world much yesterday and in the evening, DJ Ali had to cancel her gig at The Line. Magi re-scheduled DJ Auggie for 7pm and I moved my schedule to host for him. Unfortunately, the evening started out slow — I mean, very slow. I think the west coast crowd was watching the Lakers game, but the early moments felt like an episode of the Twilight Zone. The good news was, Aynnie arrived! Business started picking up shortly after that and by the time the evening was peaking we had a good crowd and probably a half-dozen new guests had dropped in and given our club a try. DJ Auggie played some great tunes including “L.A. Woman” and I think this classic rock format is going to be good for business.
