Sometimes you get a gift at a store and it is cute but the top is painted with the logo of the store, and that’s fine and good marketing and no complaints, especially when you get a nice pair of pants or a skirt along with it. Well, most of the women I know shop at Minikri’s and they have some great gifts which includes a set with a logo top. So, yesterday morning I took the skirt from and combined it with a cute halter top I have been trying to match-up for a long time. The outfit was cute, so I headed over to join the gang at The Line.

Magi, Dixon and Lacey were at The Line, dancing. And, well, Lacey liked the little outfit and this led to that and she discovered the same skirt in her inventory, and she matched-up a cute outfit with black heels from Enkythng’s. Then found my Enky’s and matched up with her, and we started dancing. Then Magi noticed our outfits and she looked and found that she had the same skirt and shoes, and she matched-up a top and the three of us looked hot. And we knew we were hot! Hehe. So, We started dancing together, then on the stage and, well, a picture is worth a thousand words.

In the afternoon, I had a photo shoot with Leeana and dispite getting our times crossed, we had a great session. I’ve done profile photo shoots for about two dozen avies over the past year, and I’ve learned a great deal about what works. Unlike a lot of photographers, I rarely do photo touch-ups and never do elaborate photo composites. I think Leeana photo is a good example of the kind of work I like to do.

However, Magi and my friend Sheri do some very nice work in photoshop. If I get a lot of demand for that type of work I suppose I’ll have to add those services, but as Magi says, you can’t expect to get compensation for the real hours you put into the work. For now, I’d rather refer friends to Sheri or Magi. Anyhoo, shortly after the photo shoot, I made that jump back across space and time and into real life.

As usual of late, later in the evening I returned and puttered around the house and store. I chatted with my newbie neighbor, Claris. She lives right next door and is a great girl, but has already discovered that there are a lot of guys in SL who can disappoint you. I’m trying to give her some good advice, but it is hard to explain how quickly things happen here in SL. And how easily you can get hurt.
