Yesterday I hung out at The Line almost the entire time I was in-world. In the morning, Aynnie was at the club with Magi, Ziffy, Lacey and Lynsey. They were chatting in voice and it was fun to hear Aynnie for the first time. Lynsey and I worked on getting a list of HOT-WET group members to contact to find out if they’d like to join our new group. Then in the evening, I did my gig with Ziffy but stayed later and helped out with a gig for our new DJ Tristina. Tris is a total rocker and a ball of fire, so we had a great time. It was pretty much a working day in Second Life which, of course, I didn’t have to do, but there is something about the nature of work that is part of human nature. I mean, in real life we work more or less because we have to, but we don’t really have to work in Second Life.

The call of the wild is in my ears. I’ve got to plan my next expedition. I’ve got to get back out there on that first continent and discover what is there.
