Kerry Streeter and I have been friends since my partnership with Kurt was… annulled. Hehe. Well, we were only partnered for three days, so it wasn’t a partnership really. I mean, really? Anyway, after the breakup I found the original Juke Joint Blues and the blues was just right for my mood at the time. Kerry and I had seats at the bar and we started chatting, and like all good friendships we became friends rather quickly. And we’ve remained friends, almost a year now. Kerry dropped by my store yesterday and we chatted and caught up on all the latest gossip.
In the evening, I headed over to The Line. I wasn’t feeling good, my stomach was queasy but I thought I could make it though my gig with Ali. The gig hadn’t started yet when Magi & Dixon arrived. I was getting prepared with my dance selections and was surprised by an IM from Magi. I won’t get into what she had to say, but it could lead to a very interesting change in my work at the club; more on that tomorrow. Anyway, just before Ali arrived for her set I realized I would not be able to do my job. I was feeling too sick and had to bow out for the evening.
I’m still not feeling very good this morning, but want to get back in-world today, if I can.
