I went to the Japanese Tea House in Miami when I was very young. The simplicity and elegance was overwhelming to my senses and it transformed my notion of beauty forever. I’ve been an enthusiast for Japanese, Chinese and Asian style ever since.
Last night, I took the evening off and went to Hosoi Ichiba, the group of sims I’ve mentioned in my original blog on several occassions. If you’ve never been there, you’ve never seen the most beautiful sims in Second Life. If you go, please allow yourself time to explore all four of the sims, and don’t miss the stores and activities at the center, where the four sims meet.
As I made my way to one of my favorite spots, I met the owner of the sims, Amiryu Hosoi and she gave me a link to the Hosoi Ichiba blog. Among the wonderful entries in her blog, I found a link to the winner of the 2008 Machinima Awards. If you’ve ever wondered what perfection in a Second Life movie is, I suggest you take a moment to enjoy this video.
Sometimes, one good thing leads to another. After watching several “Related Videos”, I branched out and discovered a large number of videos related to the movie, Memoirs of a Geisha, my favorite movie of all time. This movie is dear to my heart and perhaps it is of greater interest to women, but I think a man who wishes to peer into the world of women will find the movie intriguing. Here is a sample scene:
I spent several hours going through other related movies and posted several of them on my youtube account. If you have enjoyed these, I think you’ll enjoy my other selections.
Thanks Kalderi… I put your blog in my blogs list
