I spent more time working on my Zen garden yesterday, and I’m starting to see my way forward. I want this garden to include my favorite elements, but still maintaining the simplicity at the core of the Zen garden experience. Aynnie came over and I took her to the Little Yoshiwara and Gion hanamachis, but mostly I spent the day working on ideas for the garden.

In the evening, I had a great chat with my ex-partner, Morton. When Sarah Palin began to deliver her speech, we bailed to watch. Later, I returned for a few minutes, chatted with Mat then headed to bed early. Mmmmmm. I slept really well last night and woke up early full of vim (what is that anyway?) and vigor. Hehe.
