During the past two weeks, I haven’t made much progress toward my goal of graduating from minarai to maiko, but one of the things I need to complete in order to be eligible is to complete a cultural paper. I’ve chosen the Japanese garden as my subject.

And, by the way, I moved my garden. It happened really fast. My neighbor, Helo Jaxx decided to move and I inquired if I could buy a plot of land and he said, yes. So, in a matter of minutes I bought a 3072sqm plot adjacent to Little Yoshiwara estate. In fact, I was doing the photo shoot with Suzuko-san and Suzume-san while all of this negotiating was going on. What a day! I’ll do a photo study of the new garden soon.
