On Saturday night I learned that I’ve become an onesan (big sister). Oh my! I had a girlfriend who was sixteen when she became pregnant and I remember her saying, “I can be having a baby, I’m just a baby myself.” This is how I feel. Hehe. I’ve been a junior maiko for about one week, and now I’m a big sister.

My imouto (little sister) is Akiko Omizu. She chose to create a new avatar to become geisha and in hindsight, I think this is a smart thing to do. Anyway, I interviewed her on Saturday night and accepted her as my imouto. Although I feel like I am not truly ready for this responsibility, my own Onesan and our Okaasan both feel that I am. So, I consider this a great honor.
