The All-Day Concert

I’ve already written about the Blues Fest concert in the BFA blog, but there was a personal side to yesterday that I’d like to blog about a bit. First of all, it was a very long day and I did have to take several break from the event as the day rolled on.

I was thrilled that so many cool friends made it to the event, including prominent videographer, Geo Meek. He was doing some shooting at the event and we chatted about perhaps a video interview with Magi McBride. That would be fantastic. Unfortunately, I didn’t get a good shot of him.

That’s Geo (bottom left, circled) in his familiar mohawk. I think Synnove is nearby too. I met them both at what turned out to be a phoney “live” Jimmy Buffet concert.

Later, I met a very tall guy and we started dancing and chatting, and before long we were having a really great time. He is probably two feel taller than me, but I’m not complaining. Anyway, he’s my date tonight for the big Black & White Ball. I think I’ll have to bring a broom to beat the other women away form my new freind.

This is me and Devie dancing and prancing. I told you he’s a tall guy, but wait, check this next one.

I mean, Devie is tall! But, here’s the secret, we’ve both agreed that it’s a rather intriquing difference in height. hehe. Also, Magi confided that we are perfect for each other. oh my!

Later still, as everyone was trying to stay awake, the last wave of friends and supporters arrived. Among those arriving was ML Ferraris who made it just in time to see Iron drop his drawers and run around in his pink thong. hahaha. Love ya, Iron.

Oh, and that little guy that looks like Mat Deerhunter sorta, that’s Mat. I don’t know what got into him, but he cracked Iron up, frighten me and danced on like it was 1999. hehe. Love ya’ Mat !!

We had so many people from the bluesy community participate last night, Dina, Galilla & Lou and we had in-world celebs like Dilbert Dilweg, creator of many great night clubs. Also, Yo Brewster, everybody’s favorite SLProfiles.com friend. It was a great evening and a wonderful place to meet new friends and re-connect with old ones.

Oh, and I slept in-world again Saturday night. And, as usual, I was very lazy when I woke up on Sunday morning. I just laid around, read a book and then went back to bed.
