A Good Weekend

It’s not over, but it’s been a good weekend. There have been ups and downs and surprises, but any weekend you come thru without getting partnered to some guy you just met is a good weekend. hehe.

On Saturday night ArorA had a concert at the JY. I found myself standing next to Thor and this led to that and we had some fun dancing. I keep forgetting that Thor is an accomplished software engineer and he’s been working on some cool kaleidoscopic jewelry. I checked out his store and was amazed at the quality. He’s using Fractal programming techniques. For laymen, in the programming world, working with fractals is cool stuff. Hugzzz Thor.

My interest in building continues to grow and on Sunday morning, I continued my quest to learn more about building, prims and textures. I went over to Help Island and checked out some of those bulletin boards I had seen when I was noob, to get a bit of an overview of what the process is all about.

While at Help Island, I ran into Kurt Powell, my first partner. Well, we annuled after three days. hehe.

Kurt has changed a lot since then, it’s his way, but it was great to hangout again. Hugzzz Kurt.

Sunday night was DJ Fiery at the Junkyard, and as usual, the place was packed. I hung out with Ziffy and we danced for the first time in like ages. I even talked dirty to him and added a lot of color to his cheeks. I didn’t get a photo of the change in his complexion so there is no photographic record. Hugzzz Ziffy.

The weekend wasn’t all fun and games. It looks like Froggie has finally moved on. Bye Froggie, it was fun while it lasted. Hugzzz.
