The Villa

Jon and I are still working on our villa. Jon is actually working, I’m more or less sitting back and watching him work…hehe. Yesterday we went shopping and I bought Jon a piano and well, the next thing you know he had converted our 12-seat dining room into a wonderful music room. I really love watching Jon work and he has so many ideas he wants to try. Anyway, here is a preview look into our new home.

That’s Jon standing in the door looking at the music room he’s creating. I’m helping by playing the piano while he works.

In the evening, we celebrated the Fourth by party hopping, first to see Timo & Galia at Jazz Cat and then we went to Junkyard Blues to see Miss Luci. Jon’s friends are great and I’m really enjoying getting to know them. And, of course, I love the JY gang and so many of my fav people were there last night, including Dina & Kiff, Leanna, Ziffy, Kia and so many more, even Froggie was there. Before the show, I asked Luci to play a special song for Jon & me, but Jon was AFK when Luci did the dedication and played the song. Jon’s absence really saddened me, but Jon apologized and we went on our merry way.

Our villa will prolly undergo more changes in the coming days. And when you consider that we’ve only been partnered for one week, it is hard to believe how far we’ve already come. Late last night, after all the parties and carryings on, Jon gave me a hug that I think captures the feeling of us being together. Yes, we are an unlikely couple, but we continue to find more things that pull us together.

I love being hugged and Jon is a wonderful hugger.

One thing I’m feeling a little sad about is that I’ve hardly seen any of girlfriends all week and even the week leading up to this whirlwind romance. It’s hard to explain all the things that Jon & I are doing that keep me running so fast, but I’ll have time to invite everyone to our new house soon.
