Getting My Fun Thing Going

On Thursday night I needed to just get out and have some fun. Fortunately, Ellia Noel held a Summer Hummer party and it just happened to be the right party with the right people, like Ellia, DJ Axe, Kia, Piper, and many, many of the Junkyard crowd. There were even three peeps celebrating their rez day, Emmo Wei, Petlove Petshop and Jacan Slade. So, I plunged in with both feet.

That’s me sort of right of center in the peach bikini & sarong.

Then on Friday night, a Dreamgirl-o-gram went out from Marcy notifying us that tonight was Chicago mobster night at DJ Fiery’s show at the Junkyard. The uniform of the evening was this totally cool burlesque costume. Now, I love costumes but when I got my sweet blush colored outfit I felt like I had finally found the kind of clothes I was born to wear.

We had a huge crowd of nearly sixty people! And about a half-dozen Dreamgirls dressed in the burlesque outfits, including Marcy and Gracee the hosts. Kia came in a hit woman outfit, and shot at least one peep, maybe two. Jon arrived in his Chinese mobster outfit. I tried to get Leanna go buy her own outfit, but she felt that it just wasn’t her. Well, it may not have been LeLe, but my pretty little outfit was definitely me! Even LeLe said so. And I want to wear it forever! hehe.

DJ Fiery Otaared, aka Mama Fipie had a touching tribute show.

We even had a murder, poor Marcy was shot early in the show and her body was roped off. I’m pretty sure Kia was the killer, cause she was boasting about it. hehe.

Sometimes the best way to deal with heartbreak is to just dance. Second Life should be fun and there’s plenty of fun to find, so just dance.
