George Thorogood on Saturday Night

Tight Whiteberry’s group stages a tribute concerts, and if you’ve never been to one you are really missing a great show. In the past I’ve seen the Blues Brothers, Pink Floyd and The Doors. These shows are both visual spectacles and great concerts, and so it was on Saturday night when the group performed a George Thorogood concert at the Junkyard Blues South stage. It was a great group of guys and best of all my friend Thor Effingham was on drums.

The stage was electric !! The music was selected from actual live concerts!!

There was a great crowd, at one point I counted 94 (60 @ JYS, 34 @ JY).

My friend Thor was on drums and he was soooooo psyched… Thor-oh-Good!! (get it … hehe)

I made a new friend on Friday night, Ossy, and we he asked me to dance at the concert. (That’s me in the golden mini-dress.)

It was a great end to an amazing day for me, with Geisha Masumi’s Warriors Show in the afternoon, the Miss Luci Show in the evening and ending with the George Thorogood concert. This is one reason I keep coming back to Second Life.
