A few weeks ago it started to dawn on me that I own a kludge of properties, six plots of various sizes, one as small as 32sqms and the largest is my Zen garden at 4500sqms. This hasn’t been a problem because I was happy with the things I had; however, it began to dawn on me that I’m paying an 8,192sqm tier, split between two sims. Also, it’s a long story but I decided I want to do something more with one section of my garden, and all of this started things swirling around in my mind (more on this soon).
Long story short, I’ve decided I want a single 8,192sqm plot, so I’m in the process of selling the plot formerly known as Yordie’s Zen Garden. So, last night I confronted the fact that I need to pack up all the things I worked so hard to place in just the right spot. And I couldn’t do it. All I could do was turn off all the lanterns and unlock all of the objects. Then I did one last photo study of this place that has been such a joy for me.
I think this shot best captures the garden on it’s last night. It certainly captures my mood, like I’ve lost a good friend.
This morning I stiffened my resolve, went to the garden and started Taking all the items I’d need at my new garden. Things went surprisingly fast and within two hours I had stripped the garden to it’s basic landscape.
This is that all remains. It’s for sale to one of the good neighbors of Chodron, and I expect the sale to be completed soon.
I won’t be saying anything about the new garden until it is completed, but I intend to have some new delights and surprises for friends and patrons. So, goodbye to Yordie’s Zen Garden… for now.
😦 Such a wonderful place and time we have shared here…..BUT I am sure the new place is going to be even bigger and better. I know it was hard for you to take it down, but think of the fun putting it back together.Big hugs
