Saints March In @ Junkyard Blues

Oh yeah! I mean, OH YEAH! It’s hard to believe it but the New Orleans Saints won the Superbowl. I had just about given up around the start of the second quarter with the Colts leading 10-0, and being as I wasn’t feeling good anyway, I took a nap. When I woke up it was Saints ahead 13-10 heading into the last quarter.

So, I raced into Second Life and right over to Junkyard Blues where DJ Fiery Otaared was leading the Saints bandwagon with every version of “When the Saints Go Marching In” that she could find.  It was fantastic!!  Mama Fi had the crowd pumped bigtime and when the Saints intercepted the Colts in the fourth quarter, the crowd started swelling to fifty. And when the game was won I shouted that the crowd surged to over sixty. Bluto said, “shhhh… the sim might hear you.”

Junkyard dancefloor begins to swell, past 60 peeps
as the Superbowl victory celebration grows.

Hey, if you don’t get the connection with Junkyard Blues and the Saints… think Gulf coast, New Orleans, Blues… oh yeah, Junkyard Blues is defintely Saints country. hehe Regardless of where your team loyalty lies, it was an amazing victory for a team that has never been to the Superbowl.
