Tippy Wingtips & Steal Hawker are wonderful people who’ve been partnered for over a year. In Second Life that’s a major milestone worth celebrating with a formal party, as they did on Sunday evening on Wingtip Bluff in Thistle.
The Hawkers invited some of my favorite people including Ayn & Hart, Magi & Dillon, Leanna, Luci & Strat, Ellia and many more bluesy friends. The setting was in the cool of the evening, and under the trees. The mood was romantic and DJ Busybee Beaver really delivered an enchanting set. And there was moonlight and magic.

It’s true, parties are one of my favorite activities in Second Life, and I know I attended more than my fair share. I call myself a Second Life Socialite (winks, tongue in cheek), but seriously, parties bring together good friends and usually a few new ones, there’s music and dancing, and always something to celebrate. Oh yeah, and formal parties are a reason to wear those great evening gowns we all love (sorry guys, no evening gowns for you). What’s not to love?
