Good Times @ Green Acres

First of all it’s beautiful, Green Acres Golf Course.

I’ve been golfing there four times now and today I played a full 18 holes. And when I finished my 18 holes, Thor joined me. Thor had heard about this SL golf and I was wondering if he’d really like it. Naturally, the first hole was a little problematic but Thor studied my swing and rapidly learned the intricacies of my swing and the game too. hehe

I’m sorry to say I didn’t bring my best game when Thor and I played, mainly because I shot one into the river and it took me about 5 swings to finally get out. Fortunately, Thor documented the debacle for me.

After 9 holes, Thor sunk several birdies and I think he’s hooked. I had a birdie and an eagle myself, but because of my river debacle, my score was too embarrassing to reveal.

Green Acres is one of my fav places in SL. Friends have told me that the only thing missing is a good clubhouse, and I’ve had to pass along Morton’s feeling that a clubhouse isn’t needed. hmmmm Maybe if enough of us bug Morton he might change his mind? (food for thought)
