Before Leanna’s party last night, Tak and I wanted to explore three scuba diving sites that I discovered on Cheyenne’s Second Life Blog. We planned to go to two of the places before the party, but we discovered that our first stop, Dive World was all we could handle in one evening. This is a story that is all about the photos.
Tak & I started out taking the automated tour which was so cool we had to get right back in those deep waters and do some serious exploring.
There were swarms of hammerhead sharks down there, and a shiver when thru me recalling the times I’d fallen overboard at Junkyard Blues marina where the sharks will eat you.
There was an amazing aqua center on the sea bottom, surrounded by swarms of the awesome manta rays, a species I knew well from my childhood.
And there I was, alone in the presence of a magnificent whale shark, but despite it’s size this shark is a gentle plankton eating giant.
Clearly scuba diving is an immersive SL experience and like all others, you actually have to get involved in the activity to experience the immersion.
