P!NK @ Pillars of Hercules

Last night Tak noticed that there was a P!NK concert (tribute band) at The Pillars of Hercules. Totally cool. So we saddled up and limo’d over. We got there early and invited some friends and fortunately new friend and amazing photographer, Minnie joined us. This is my second concert at the main concert area at Pillars, first concert was the fantastic Beyonce. Anyway, the crowd poured in and P!NK and her band opened the show! (Ok, first, I messsed up, I didn’t get the SL names of P!NK and the girls in the band. Sowwy.)

The band was hot and there was P!NK herself, even hotter.

The Pillars concert area is always built out over the harbor area. You find yourself listening to P!NK’s rock, engulfed in the ancient world.

That’s me, Tak and Minnie dancin’ and chatting while P!NK rocked out. Tak & I not only found a wedding photographer but also a cool new friend.

I only gravitated to P!NK’s sound in 2008. I mean, I heard her stuff and all at clubs, but just didn’t get into her till So What and… “nah, nah, nah-nah-nah, nah, haahh… I’m still a rock star… dah, dah, dah-dah, dah, pffft.” (I know, I’m really a late comer) but hey, I live in northern Idaho were the stations play CW and stoner rock. hehe So, I do the best I can to stay hip. I’m really impressed with the Pillars tho and I’m more and more a fan of the great tribute bands of SL.
