In the excitement of the past couple months I’ve lost track of many things. I didn’t do this on purpose, but planning a wedding in Second Life turned out to be an amazing experience in which I was swept away. So, I kind of missed the impact of Dahlia “Sweet” Jayaram’s announcement that she had finished her photography book, The Great Balloon Adventure ~ Satori is Published!.
During the past few days I’ve had a chance to read Dahlia’s new book and I was delighted when I came across an article she did about the day she landed her balloon in Yordie’s Zen Garden. I won’t tell you what she said, but I encourage you to read the book (especially page 73 & 74) and checkout the amazing photos she captured in this latest episode of The Great Second Life Balloon Adventure.
Another great adventure book Dahlia!!
Yordi, thank you so much for mentioning The Great Balloon Adventure here! It was really my big pleasure to fly to your zen garden and meet you while I was in Satori. Your place is really very beautiful and not to be missed! I plan to come back again, that's for sure.By the way, not only is my trip to visit you mentioned on pages 73-74, but you are also mentioned near the back of the book as being one of my Top 10 favourite moments during my trip through Satori. I'm so happy for you that you've survived your wedding and are enjoying a renewed pleasure in Second Life. What is old is new again when shared with someone you care for, so congratulations to you both!I'll see you again sometime, whether it is back in the zen garden or in the skies! Take care and best to you in 2011! 😀
