Exploring Atlantis

On Sunday, Tak was in an athletic mood so we raced over to the Grand Canyon and started base jumping. Then we tried getting shot across the canyon on a cannon ball, and then we tried racing across dangerous cliffs on dirt bikes. And then we tried racing thru the canyon in a zodiac.

That’s Tak piloting us thru the rough waters. I’m hanging on for dear life.

We did a whole lot more things there at the Grand Canyon, but when we were done I suggested doing some scuba and Tak had found a new place to explore, Atlantis. I hadn’t heard of it before but it is featured in Showcase. And btw, isn’t Showcase something Linden Lab has really done well? Yes it is! LL can mess up a lot of things but over the past couple years this Showcase has come to be one of the most valuable assets in Second Life. Anyway, we headed over to Atlantis and suited up for some great scuba.

Here we are shortly after we entered the vast undersea Atlantis complex.
That’s just Tak looking totally hot. /me smiles at her lover
Somewhere we found our way to the outside of the tunnel complex.
And if you ascend to the surface level you see that the vast complex extends above the seas.
This is one of the giant structures that extends above sea level.
And as you journey thru the vast complex, every once in awhile you come across an uexpected denizen of the deep.

There is a great deal to see in the undersea world of Atlantis. And while I was there I came across several other visitors. There’s even a nightclub in one of the chambers. Check it out.
