Changing My Everything

Anyone who remembers me back to 2007 may remember that I was one of the first avies to discover Damselfly hair and I kept it a secret, except for a couple friends, for over a year. I had this one hairstyle that was in relative terms very realistic at a time when flexihair was just getting going. I stayed loyal to Dameselfly during 2008 and 2009.

By 2010 it was obvious that more and more hair vendors were getting better and better, creating really exciting new styles. Today, I can’t seem to go shopping for new outfits without finding some a new hairstyle as well. And in my recent shopping craze, I’ve been adding new styles to my inventory each week. In fact, I feel good wearing styles from more vendors than in all the previous years combined.

Some of my girlfriends have been more at ease trying out new styles than I’ve ever been, but now I’ve gone over the precipice that held me back. For one thing, I have been spending all my monthly tiers on new clothes, but also I’m finding a lot of fun using “Paste as Link” feature to create new outfits with more and more detail and customization.

Yeah, it’s me.

Anyway, I’ll be writing more about my style changes, but tonight I want to show off a new hairstyle I’m enjoying.

Amazing what a hairstyle can do to change your look, no? And no, I haven’t abandoned my traditional style, but I have a feeling like I’m changing my everything.

Hi Kia… actually, we both recognized that we had Damselfly hair and we both kept the secret. And you even modified yours which impressed me so much at the time. hehe

I was one of your Damselfly gals back then! we had the same hair for a while 😉 I still love the way the Damselfly hair moves, (AND the way the hair is textured, not a FLAT color) but I really love Truth styles now.
