Winter @ Calas Galadhon, Yay!

You know I love Calas Galadhon. And I know you love Calas Galadhon. And if you don’t know it already, Truck & Ty have brought Winter to this amazing region of Second Life.

Winter at Calas Galadhon is a whole lot more than just snow on the ground and in the trees, it’s cross country skiing, ice skating, a wonderful Christmas wonderland (more on this soon) and a hundred little details, like free kittens to wear on your shoulder. It is also a lot of fun people.

That’s me on my red hot wonder skis, racing effortlessly (literally) through the amazing winter landscape. Naturally, the skis are free and even modifiable. I should have made them pink but I will next time.
And there’s ice skating galore with all kinds of frozen pathways that can lead you into the front yards of some new friends. Skates are free too.

I’ve been a supporter of Calas Galadhon from the moment I first visited. I’ve tried to encourage everyone I meet to make the visit. And I know that some of you readers got your introduction to Calas right here on my blog (I know this because you’ve told me so). But here’s something you might not know about Calas, Tymus & Truck spend countless hours planning and working on these seasonal changes, imagineering the wonderful experiences we all enjoy. And they do it for all of us because they enjoy making people happy; pretty cool, no? I encourage you to come and play during this Christmastime.

This is the photo I used to create the new blog title graphic.
It’s Winter at Being Yordie Sands.
