Spring Comes To Martha’s Vineyard

Spring at last! It’s been a long cold winter in the New England sim group, but this past weekend the snow melted and trees and plants broke through with Spring colors. I worked for several days cleaning up the house.

The sun fills our little paradise with warmth.
I put some bonsai trees in the greenhouse.
It’s been a real challenge keeping them alive all winter.
I opened the living room doors to catch some spring air.
Check the new kitchen table & chairs.
I got them from Sonja Scorbal’s Shack Up!
Reasonably priced, fine quality.
It was great to have the living room doors opened,
with the view of my neighbor’s island
just a few hundred meters offshore.

My human assures me that it’s still not Spring here in real life. That’s the joy of Second Life, you can get that break from the long dreary winter when you really need it. I have a few more photos I’ll put up on Flickr photostream today, but I wanted to get these up right away.

Btw, last night I continued to have problems boating. If I travelled more than 2 or 3 sims, I’d freeze and my boat with either disappear or be returned to me. I believed the problem was Firestorm related but I’m learning that many friends and friends of friends are having a wide ranging of noticable problems, including crashing. There isn’t a specific viewer, but one friend said that Viewer 3 is working. So, what the heck is going on Linden Lab?
