PIER, Another Evening

I keep Notices turned on for groups I don’t expect a lot of traffic from. PIER has been gone for over two years now, so you don’t really expect anything. But last night, PIER owner Carys put out a little call for anyone who was listening. PIER is open. It wasn’t like an “opening”, just that it was open. So, once again I raced over there for just a little taste of the old days.

Owner Carys Dahlstrom sat in her favorite spot,
on one of the dock posts.
A few peeps joined us. That’s Leanna & Thor on the left.
That’s me sorta dancin & prancin.

This was totally “no big.” But in an era where landmark regions are disappearing each week, it sure is nice to go back to a place that is exactly the way you remembered it. It still has a great look and feel. And it’s where I learned to dance in Second Life.

Carys is thinking about throwing a party and that would be big.

I know what you mean about those 'old' places… I love to go back and experience the first time I went there again! Unfortunately, so many places seem to disappear. 😦
