I didn’t plan this. I just went over to Junkyard Blues in my Easter Bunny costume, was gonna pay the rent on my boat slip and maybe listen to Doc spin. So there my boat was and I wondered if I’d be able to zoom around the JY in it. I’ve tried this in the past, but things didn’t go well.

I rezzed a second Sea Girl then hopped in, hippiddyhop!

In moments I’d made 3 successful sim crossings and continued on all the way around. I circled the Junkyard three times and that’s around 10 crossings for each circle because of bobbing & weaving to navigate hazards.

So I stopped and waited for Tippy then we took off to see if my luck would hold up On the 2nd or 3rd crossing I lost Tippy, but going a little slower helped.

So, here’s the story. Taking a boat around the sims of Junkyard Blues has been hazardous for a long time. And it still may be hazardous depending on your Viewer (Phoenix 1.6 is good, Firestorm problematic and Viewer 3 is somewhat problematic), but speaking from personal experience this is a breakthrough. More and more evidence is accruing for me that something that was broken for a long time is now working.

Then we went over to see DJ Doc Cordell.
