The Surprising Blake Sea

I had some me-time this afternoon. I didn’t know what to do, so I did what I always do when I don’t know what to do, I headed to the Blake Sea. I thought it might be nice to head over in the direction where the pirates roam.

That’s me getting those big engines running.
I’m wondering, did the recent server problems
screw up the sim crossing experience.
I headed southwesterly, past Hawser sim
and headed to regions I wasn’t very familiar with.
Here is Sirens Isle where that big sea plane crashed.
Then I headed back more to the east and found
The Honah Lee Air Field.
I’d been by here before but this time I docked
and checked out the place.
On my way home I saw something in the distance,
so I zoomed on over to see.
It was another magnificent ship
appearing on Hawser sim.
The ships name is Trafalgar and it was converted
to an aircraft carrier.

Here’s the scoop: This time I didn’t waste time, I found the name of the builder and looked him up. His name is Ns5 Xorbun and I chatted him up a bit. Yes, he is the same builder who created the Titanic I’d reported about on it’s 100th Anniversary. I also found that he has a store Xorbun Products on Marketplace!

After chatting with Ns5, I looked around me
and saw that a flotilla of boats had come
to see the ship and pay tribute.
Isn’t that just the most amazing thing!

Second Life’s Premier Wonder
A source of endless fascination.

Then as with Titanic, in an instant it was gone. So, I headed home. I mean, what an extraordinary event and amazing surprise. I’ll post some more pics on Flickr this evening.
