My Own Tab on iRez.me

Yay! I got my own tab on iRez.me. And I’ll have a follow-up article about SL9B soon. Stay tuned and by the way, iRez.me is a unique blog I recommend to all of my friends. There is a unique group of authors with interesting points of view. I discovered iRez as I began following more and more of Vanessa Blaylock’s posts and comments. I’ll continue to write about my adventures in Being Yordie Sands and my opinions here in Yordie Sands Notebook. I’ll also continue to write (e)YORDIE on Empire Avenue.

At the SLB press day, we were asked to say something about ourselves and I remarked that “I’m a serial blogger” and it stuck. In fact, blogger Inara Prey immediately took off with the notion and declared, “I’m a cereal blogger.” It’s not really rare for a blogger to write for multiple blogs, but it does makes for a good giggle.

About Yordie

I'm a blogger and photographer on WordPress. I'm active on Twitter. I'm a U.S. Air Force veteran. I'm a gamer in Fallout series, Skyrim, and other games, including an avatar in Second Life. I wrote the sci-fi novel, The Temporal Expeditions.

  1. Yay Yordie Serial Blogger! (I aspire to be a parallel blogger!)

No one deserves their very own tab more than Yoooooo!

    Woooo hoooo!

And quite seriously, Welcome Aboard! It’s so great to have your contributions over on iRez! The funny thing is, most of us over there “grew up” in SL, but we’re focused in specific areas, Botgirl on Identity, Kathleen on Virtual Learning, myself on Individuality & Embodiment… etc… so even though SL is much in the air, we really didn’t have anyone focused on the magnificent breadth and joy (most of the time) of Second Life — Now we do! 🙂
