My Second Life Romances

That’s just me, mulling the nature my second loves.

I called it, my Second Life Romance. I wrote about it in three parts and I had no idea where it was going when I began. I had a lot of trouble figuring out where it would end. And I just need to say this, I never enjoy stories that leave you with such vagueness, the ending could mean just about anything.  My story is fictional with composite characters, but it is about real feelings and real discoveries about Second Life romance and love. I ended this tale today and there are those who could argue that it’s not really ended but I believe it has a good ending for now.

My Second Life Romance:

1) He Made Me Feel Like Dancin’
2) He Filled My Life With Hope
3) Protecting My Heart

Your Second Life Romance:
I’ve been told by several readers that it takes courage to put yourself out there like that. But I think that once you begin, it becomes easier. And I believe you learn a lot about your second-self in the process. Here’s my challenge to anyone who is of a mind to try it, why not tell about your Second Life romance? You can do it in comments here or on your own blog, and I think you’ll be surprised at how many comments (perhaps private) that you get from fellow readers.

  1. What a beautiful series Yordie! Thank you so much for sharing it.

I love your challenge… I’m sure there are both funny horror stories… and also some genuine long term successes… and many other peeps and relationships out there… it’d be great to hear from some of them…

    Thank you!

I suspect that if peeps tell their stories from the first romance, there will be at least one very heart breaking tale. I once met a girl who’d been in SL for only two years and had partnered seven (7) times. But partnering isn’t an indication of how many sad stories there are. I also know people who’ve never partnered and have badly broken hearts. SL romance is hard on peeps, but when it’s going well it’s magic. I’m looking forward to hearing Vaneeesa’s story some day? Maybe it’s already written and wating to be discovered again, hiding in your archives?

  2. Oh, supa-cute photo BTW! 🙂

Thankie VB… that photo was taken then night after an acquaintence told me I was “Indigo”. Anyway, I took the tests and sure enough, I’m Indigo. I think almost anyone who wanted to be Indigo could find a way to _be_ Indigo. That’s me looking into the waters, seeing the indigo in my reflection… cutely though. nice pose, huh!

As I mentioned to you before, I’ve been avoiding this subject for some time. But I do have a plan to share what might well be the most romantic experience I’ve had in SL, which was my 5th Rez Day. Getting a start on that this week!
