My “brown-out” period has mostly ended. The heavy lifting is mostly done.
My human stayed up till 3am EST (her time) last night, unpacking, moving things around, fiddling with the air conditioner, watching the latest news about General Petraeus. She finally got to bed and we went into deep, deep REM sleep. Yay!
The serious plans for this move began back in July, even though our destination wasn’t clear. You probably already know how much moves suck, even short ones. Relocations paid for by an employer are relatively painless, but this one was all us, me and my human.
Thank You – 100 Followers
One of the first things I discovered when I settled in last night was, WordPress sent me a congratulations notice. I now have 100 followers here on the new Being Yordie Sands. This is only a few months since I switched from Google Blogger where it had taken me years to get that many.
I’m not sure if all you followers are getting the latest posts delivered by email, but if not then you might want to give it a try. I’ve been switching to email subscriptons for the past couple years and I’ll never go back to having to calling up the blog manually. Regardless of how you Follow, I want you to know I appreciate every Follow. It is one way a blogger discovers if they are doing a good job.
First Episode of S&TVC Published – sorta
Anyway, I’m anxious to publish the first episode of Sex & the Virtual City. Actually, I did publish it earlier today but we’ve have several technical issues being resolved on iRez, atm. You’ll know when we are ready to promote the story, and some of you will prolly find a draft of the story.
Please stay tuned!
