When I began writing for iRez.me virtual salon, aka I Rez Therefore I Am magazine, I was very happy with the new doors that opened. First of all, if you get to know the wild & crazy and brilliant Vaneeesa Blaylock, you become pumped up by her exuberance and enthusiasm.
IRez is more than just Van, though. When you couple in the two dozen or more authors and guest authors and the alumni of the salon, you have a lively forum for all topics related to virtual identity.

Here I am playing the role of the unfriendly tech support
trying to drown the innocent Vaneeesa
in a sea of technical nightmares.
For over a month iRez has been hobbled by technical difficulties related to migrating the magazine to a new level of sophistication. When Vaneeesa moved the magazine to WordPress.com, the self-hosted version, she began creating a new look and feel that included the use of sub-folders within the main iRez URL. This was amazing until routine service provider maintenance, by inexperienced technical support staff, basically destroyed everything.
What followed was an unwanted technical education experience for all concerned. But after exhaustive research, experimentation, backups & restores, and no doubt endless frustration, Van has regained the upper hand.
iRez is back on the airwaves, so to speak. Big Yays! The work isn’t done yet. There may be missing links and photos but the iRez authors are able to post again. And speaking of which…
