Last night I returned to the newly updated Calas Galadhon and adjacent ten sims. I was excited to see all the changes Truck & Ty had made, but instead of an orderly exploration, I found myself running around hither and yon. ((I know this comes as no surprise to many friends.)) Here are some photos from my wanderings into Dimrill Dale, Gulf of Lune, Eryn Vorn, Glanduin, South Farthing and, of course, Calas Galadhon itself, and probably other places where I wasn’t sure where I was.

Here’s a view of the hill above the little town on Calas.
The features on the hill have changed a lot,
but I’m certain you’ll enjoy everything.

That’s tiny me standing below the giant Clydesdale horses,
as I strolled the inviting dirt roads into Dimrill Dale.

I made my way out into marshlands of the Gulf of Lune.
If you look at the center, you’ll one of the friendly weasels.
One of the wonderful features about Calas is wildlife everywhere.

Somehow my path took me back to firm ground of Glanduin.
The beauty is found everywhere on these sims.
And there are many places to rest, picnic or dance.

Ty once told me that Truck enjoys populating the park for the wildlife.
Here on Eryn Vorn I came across some large buffalo.

After wandering the dirt roads, bogs and forests,
I made my way back to the “Mother Sim”, Calas.
Yessie, there’s even a wonderful sweets shop.
If you’ve never been to the eleven sims of Calas Galadhon, you should never feel that there’s nothing to do in Second Life. This is a place to explore, photograph, bring friends, meet new people and become immersed in joy. There are free horses to ride, free boats to ride, and a free balloon ride that takes you around the entire park. There’s also scuba diving, nightclubs and if you keep your eyes open you might even meet Ty & Truck. And hey, you might even find me there too.
