This morning I took down the Harvest Moon Cafe, my Zen garden and environs. I’ve found that nothing is permanent in Second Life and we shouldn’t dwell on passings.
I’ve always had a sense that Second Life is like a personal movie. And once a movie has ended, we shouldn’t feel that we’ve lost anything. Even if I never took a photos, this build would still have a home in my thoughts.
Yesterday I took a few minutes to shoot some final photos to remind me of the joys I found in this beautiful and peaceful place.
Thank you to everyone who visited this project. I’m not sure of the total count but I beleive over two dozen readers and friends made the trip at least once, some came several times.
Special thanks to all the photographers who featured the Harvest Moon Cafe in their in their blog posts, Flickr pages and Facebook photos. I was amazed to see each person’s unique perspectives.
I’m not sure what my next project will be but one idea I’ve been noodling is a complete Edo era village. As Leanna would say, “Time will tell.”
