Fallout 4: My Level 16 Weapons

[Level 16, Moderate Difficulty] If you play Fallout 4 you realize that you need powerful weapons. In the past I spent many early SPECIAL points on Gun Nut. I wanted to build the most lethal weapons I could. This playthrough, I’ve chosen a different path.

I’ve bought the basic weapons I need and rather than modify them, I’ve switched out the best features I could find and put them on my basic weapons. This has helped me turn my 10mm Pistol into a much more powerful handgun. It also helped with my sniper rifle, combat rifle, and combat shotgun.

NOTE: The names of my weapons have been changed but you can find all of the chassis for all these weapons in the game. Once you play the game you’ll recognize them instantly.

I got this10mm pistol when I left Vault 111. I’ve modified it with parts from other 10mm weapons I’ve found over the16 levels of play. I haven’t seen anything comparable to this weapon for sale anywhere in the game yet. So, the lesson is: It is possible.

Early in the game it is very useful to have a shotgun, even a two-barrel shotgun. But at the first opportunity I bought this Combat Shotgun and built it up to a much more useful weapon.

One of my preferences in every game is taking the long shot at dangerous enemies. In Lara Croft Tomb Raider I learned to use a powerful bowl and in the Fallout series I took to sniper rifles. This .308 sniper rifles needs a lot more work, but this is a lethal weapon. Distance helps keep you alive.

The .308 sniper rifle is great at long distance, but a .45 Combat Rifle is great at long distances also. Right now, this one has more Damage than the .309 above. Also, up close weapon this weapons is almost as good as a machine gun. I don’t like having to carry both weapons, but I’ll be building up the .308 along the way. Who knows, maybe I’ll find an alternative. Again, I purchased the basic weapon chassis and built it up to this level.

My most powerful weapon I have had to be purchased at considerable expense. This weapon is always a must have in my FO4 arsenal. And when being attacked by Irradiated Bloated Feral Ghouls… like last night, this is a life saver! Just saying on that.
