Starfield: Being Starborn NG4

[Level 112, Easy, NG4] I’ve only been Starborn NG4 for two levels so far, but I’ve accumulated plenty of credits, my favorite weapons, and just completed modifications to the Stroud-Ecklund Kepler S.

This ship is only a Class B starship, but it has all the habitat modules I need plus 8,000 cargo capacity (with Sam & my combined Payload skills). It looks a lot like the original Kepler S but has a large Living habitat module (2 x 1), as well as regular sized Control, Berthing, Infirmary*, Armory*, Workshop*, and Captain’s quarters habs.

I don’t believe that the starred (*) habitats were available on Class B ships before latest software update. So, thank you Bethesda dudes!

This ship required other important mods, including three weapons types (Laser, Ballistic, Missile), a more powerful Reactor, Grav Drive, and doubled the number of Engines. There  is also some minor structural changes. In conclusion, this may turn out to be the only ship I’ll need for this entire NG. For one thing, it is much more maneuverable than a Class C starship.

I know I’ll need more Grav jump capacity at some point but I might just use my Starborn Guardian for some of that. Below, BEHOLD, the buffed up, souped up, jazzed up Kepler S. And yes, I’m naming it “Blackbird II”.

Voilà! Yordie Sands’ modified, buffed up Kepler S Starship. The ship is named “Blackbird II”.

FYI, I’ve posted two videos on YouTube that feature my NG3 “Vindicator III” starship. One is a quick external walk-around. The other is a full interior walkthrough. It’s hard to grasp but the Vindicator is a much bigger ship than the Kepler. The Vindicator III is gone now because NG3 is gone. She was a good ship.
