Bethesda has a habit of creating some extremely annoying characters. It’s fun once get past how annoying the characters can be. Two of my all-time favorite annoying characters were from Fallout 4: Jun and Marcy Long. In fact, I’m going to be giving awards for annoying characters in honor of “The Loving Couple” (I like to refer to them as that).

For those who don’t know about Jun & Marcy, Bethesda is going to release a remastered Fallout 4 in a couple of weeks. Get the game. Play the game. You’ll be happy I warned you about The Loving Couple.

The 2024 Jun & Marcy Long Award Goes To…

This is the inaugural year for the award and I’ve chosen the ever boisterous, always gregarious, insufferably egotistical, and wildly reckless in any battle, the one, the only Barrett! There’s one other attribute that Barrett has that made him the easy winner of this award, his 1940s-1950s style swashbuckling behavior. As part of the honor, I’ve searched far and wide for swashbuckling attire and a hat for him.

Barrett was surprised and humbled (momentarily) to receive the honor. He really likes his new attire and plans to wear it for as long as the game is played. When he received his crowning glory, the hat, it brought him to tears. He even sleeps in the; yanno, when he’s not constantly talking about how great he is and how many people in the galaxy admire him.

I have a feeling these awards will be given out to others in the coming months and years, but Barrett gets the distinction of being the first.

For folks who really like Barrett, sorry if my pranking the guy offends. The voice actor is quite good in other Starfield roles but I just had to do this.
